In Uruguay our team has prepared a fun educational game for Global Handwashing Day, called “Anna’s Hand”, which consists of the visit of 2 giant hands to Early Childhood Care Centers (CAIF) in Montevideo.
Those hands, which will have 2 of our people inside, will tell the children in each educational center what a day in the life of Anna is like.
Anna is a 4-year-old girl just like them, and how the fun activities that Anna does on a daily basis make her hands dirty and therefore how necessary it is to wash them at all times.
As the story unfolds, the children will be able to draw on the giant hands with washable markers and others kids will clean them with water, soap and sponges, so that “Anna’s hands” are clean at all times.
Once the activity is finished, our colleagues are donating soap and alcohol gel dispensers with products for each charity together with advice on where to put them and how to better use the hygiene resource.
Wonderful idea and congratulations Team Uruguay!
